and travel and good ganja forms part of the tourist scene in Jamaica.
Whether its lazing on a nude beach or hiring a girl for the night
there is always a sexual charge in the air at nights in Negril
and Montego Bay.
It is often
difficult to distinguish between romantic liaisons and sex-for-cash
transactions. Sexual activity with a minor carries heavy penalties,
as well as being morally reprehensible.
Sex, drugs, and and good reggae music is another factor why many
singles visit Jamaica.
In most hotels
there is the option of a spa which offers therapeutic messages.
This is not be mistaken for light sex play as this is serious
service being given by serious working employees. Sex work is
rife among the young female Jamaican underclass, and the "rent
a dread" trade - Jamaican gigolos for foreign females - was
given a boost by the making of the hit movie "How Stella
Got Her Groove Back"" in Negril. Negril and Montego
Bay in particular, attracts large numbers of Jamaicans eager to
attach themselves to foreigners for sex and money. Single foreigners
(male and female) are likely to be approached at some stage in
not -too-subtle terms. Go-go dancers usually double as prostitutes,
and most clubs have private rooms to facilitate this.

II Resort
All
types -- doctors and lawyers, musicians and artists, secretaries
and truck drivers, moms and retirees. Guests are mostly white
with 10 percent or so other races. The staff is primarily
Black Jamaican. Most guests hail from the United States.
What’s
the difference between Hedonism II and Hedonism III?
The resorts are similar in many respects. Most guests say rooms
at Hedo3 are better, and sometimes the food is better. The beach
at Hedo2 is far better than at Hedo3. Many say that unless they
bring their friends, the social ambiance at Hedo3 is more subdued
than at Hedo2. The hot tub at both at night heats up equally.
What are accommodations like at Hedonism II?
Rooms
are fairly Spartan but clean and have the essentials: a king-sized
bed, mirrors on the ceiling, soap, shampoo, towels, iron and
ironing board (few use them), and blow dryer. Through 2004,
the resort is in the process of repainting the rooms and remodeling
bathrooms to have showers instead of bathtubs.
What are the beaches like at Hedonism II?
Hedonism
II’s beach is long and sufficiently wide with lots of areas
for sun and shade (many trees dot the beach). The sand is coarse
because the beach is artificial. It was added to the end of
the famous seven-mile Negril beach in the 1970s.

What
is the food like at Hedonism II?
Food quality varies but something is always edible and sometimes
excellent. Hedonism II has a Japanese-style restaurant called
Munasan, an Italian restaurant called Pastafari, and a Jamaican
restaurant called Scotch Bonnet in addition to a huge buffet
open-air dining room.
Have you attended weddings at Hedonism? If so, what are
they like?
Weddings
at Hedo are open for all to watch, whether naked or clothed.
The bridal party and minister is always dressed at Hedonism
II (once a year nude weddings are hosted at Hedonism III
— usually around February 14). Guests don’t have
to be dressed on the nude beach but some ornament
themselves to be festive.
Ceremonies
are short and a small reception is held in the piano bar
game room. The resort supplies champagne and cake. Weddings
are no longer free, but they are still reasonable and the
resort staff goes out of their way to ensure the day is
special.
Can
Hedonism II help a couple's sex life?
I think so! The resort is quite inspiring for many folks
— including singles and both monogamous and swinger
couples. Tons of couples find Hedo recharges their sex life
not only because being on a lazy vacation helps, but all
around you are folks who are feeling frisky with their spouses
too. It’s in the air.

Why
would newlyweds want to go to a clothing-optional resort?
 What
are the advantages of going on a naked honeymoon? Being naked heightens
sensuality for newlyweds. Plus, sheer physical comfort is found
by being nude. Preparation for hitting the nude beach is quick:
Just check your butt for T.P. balls and hit the beach. To adjust
to being naked with or without an adult beverage, know that sunlight
feels good on your genitals. And think about the smooth roundness
of your fat without the indent of a swimsuit’s elastic emphasizing
its mush. Birthday suits also dry faster than textile ones. You
can pack lighter too —fewer clothes to bring.
We are very
sorry to say that Jamaica is an adamantly homophobic nation. You
will however find that most Jamaicans have had some exposure to
the world  through
traveling and have learnt to be tolerant of the various life choices
of visitors to the island. Privacy is respected, however should
you be mingling with the locals, please be mindful of their reaction
to your sexual orientation.
There are some small hotels in Jamaica that caters to gay and lesbian
travellers. If you are interested in gay travel you will find that
your privacy will be respected especially in the tourist area of
Negril. No one will overtly raise an eyebrow if two persons of the
same sex share a room. This is generally taken in the light that
the couple is sharing room cost while on vacation.
Please note
that in Jamaica homosexual intercourse between men is illegal, and
anti-gay hysteria is a staple of musical lyrics, such as Buju Banton's
Boom Bye Bye. Homosexuality is a subject that evokes extreme reactions
among Jamaicans, and it is difficult to hold a serious discussion
on the topic. However it is now slowly becoming accepted for women
to declare themselves lesbians. Again do expect to get some reaction
should you declare this fact about your personal life.
